A public university founded to be a management university, and still one: three large colleges — Business, Arts and Sciences, and Law, Government and International Studies — with management specialisms you rarely find gathered in one place, from Islamic finance to risk management and insurance to international affairs. The campus is at Sintok in Kedah, with a second site in Kuala Lumpur.

The deepest management list among the public universities
If your subject is management, finance, accounting or Islamic finance, its list of programmes open to international students is wider than most of its rivals. Know the other side too: Sintok is in the far north near the Thai border, a long way from Kuala Lumpur, and the campus is largely self-contained. If you like quiet it is ideal; if you want a city it is not.

The College of Business holds AACSB accreditation — carried by fewer than five per cent of the world's business schools — and the university says it has the largest student body of any AACSB-accredited university in Asia.

The Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz School of Accountancy, the Islamic Business School, the School of Business Management, the School of Technology Management and Logistics, the School of Economics, Finance and Banking, and the National Golf Academy.
